Trivia[]
- A different rendition of "The Pink Panther Theme" is featured during the opening and closing theatrical credits. The intro music starts quiet but then gets loud, but after that the theme gets normal onwards in other episodes.
- Remade in 1979 as Toro Pink.
- The Little Man doesn't appear.
- The bull sounds like an elephant.
- This short was made at a time that all things Latin were popular: Man of La Mancha, Herb Alpert, Yago Sant'gria, and the newly rediscovered avocado.
- Among the names displayed are Tecate (a popular Mexican beer) and Calexi & Co., a play on the border town of Calexico.
- William Lava did a great job on the soundtrack, which was full of Latin-inspired music as well as Pink Panther's familiar theme song.
- The opening credits show a very Man of la Mancha-esque silhouette of a bull and a matador.
Goofs[]
- Pink’s eyes turn white when closing the gate lever, then they turn back to yellow.
