This issue was available in both Gold Key and Whitman editions.
The comic story Ape Suzette is adapted from the Ape Suzette animated Inspector short.
Ape Suzette is one of three Western Publishing era Inspector comic stories that features Sgt. Deux Deux. The other two are Sea? Si', Sir! and Le Quiet Squad.
In the Ape Suzette animated short, the sailor calls the ape Judy. But in the comic story, the sailor calls her Suzette.
