Summary[]

The Pink Panther keeps trying to sleep, but a cat keeps waking him up!

Plot[]

In Pink Panther's abode, Pink changes into his pajamas and heads to bed, turning off the lights. Suddenly, a loud screeching cat disrupts the peace. Pink turns on the bedroom light and heads downstairs to confront the noisy feline, urging it to quiet down. After this unsuccessful attempt to pacify the cat, he heads back to bed and turns off the lamp. The persistent cat resumes screeching, prompting him to sprint down the stairs in frustration. He confronts the cat again and realizes it's hungry. Pink quickly fetches a fish for the cat, but it remains insatiable, demanding more food.

Growing increasingly angry, Pink gestures for the cat to leave. Ignoring the cat following him, he goes back upstairs and closes the window before returning to bed. Just as he's about to fall asleep, he discovers the cat lying beside him. Startled, he points at the cat, urging it to leave, but the cat turns off the lamp, sparking a comical struggle over the light switch. Eventually, Pink discovers the cat isn't on the bed and realizes it's raiding his refrigerator.

Pink tries to usher the cat out, but it holds onto the doorsill, resulting in a hilarious flinging incident. The cat ends up clinging to a painting, and Pink, with a lampshade on his head, wrestles the cat off the wall. After a chaotic struggle across the room, he manages to cage the cat and takes it on a motorcycle ride before releasing it in the middle of nowhere. Unfortunately, his motorcycle breaks, forcing him to hitchhike.

A vehicle stops, and Pink hops into the back seat, only to discover the cat right beside him. Shocked, he jumps out and rushes home, finding the cat waiting in his bed. He comes up with a plan, deploying a wind-up mouse to distract the cat. The cat chases the toy mouse and ends up in a bulldog's doghouse. Fleeing from the bulldog, the cat runs back into Pink's house. A chaotic chase ensues in the bedroom, revealing Pink's bloodshot eyes. Frustrated, he tries to hitchhike to a motel, but the attempts are in vain.
